Young Variety 10 x 10
A fantastic evening was had by all last Monday at the Google office in Sydney, at Variety’s 10 x 10 charity event.
Variety 10×10 is an exclusive event to help Australian kids who are sick or disadvantaged or have special needs by raising money for Variety – the Children’s Charity.
With special guest Lucy Turnbull AO, acting as the ‘dragon’, Variety’s 10 x 10 event involved three of Variety’s most innovative programs pitching in the style of venture capital pitches and the TV show ‘Dragon’s Den’.
After each pitch, Lucy Turnbull and members of the audience posed some tough questions to the pitchers and at the end of the evening, the audience got to decide which program they would donate to.
The Rhythm Village were one of the programs pitching and the other two companies were:
- Just Like You; and
- Beach Accessibility
All three pitches were amazing and it was wonderful that all three companies received some well-deserved funds to continue helping children with special needs. We especially want to thank Anna Prell, for all her support and amazing effort with our pitch.
