The Rhythm Village had a fantastic day at Malkara School in Canberra last Friday. Staff from Altis Consulting enjoyed their Corporate Volunteers Day at the school, where they engaged with the children as we made some awesome music together.
The day began with an energetic session of drumming and percussion, followed by a fun arts and craft session, where the students got to make their very own shakers, with the guidance of the Altis volunteers.
It was wonderful to see the children enjoying themselves and some even were inspired to dance to the music.
What a great way to start the day for the volunteers and the students loved having these special guests there to shake maracas, drum and dance with them!
Thanks to Variety, the Children’s Charity for making this event possible, to Altis Consulting for sharing their hearts and their time and to Malkara School – teachers and students – for joining in and making this such a memorable day!
