The Rhythm Village is proud of the great milestones we have achieved in our private music lessons. Our private lessons take place at the homes of our students, or in Adult Day Centres or in Community Centres. They are generally conducted on a one-on-one basis, but can also be run in small groups of 3 or 4 people.
We work with parents and carers to identify the needs of our students and create customised plans for each student, ensuring that we are able to meet these goals and objectives.
Our private lessons can work towards different learning outcomes for individual students, such as:
Our private lessons usually involve exploring and enjoying a range of instruments together, or for higher functioning students, these lessons can help them work towards learning an instrument, such as guitar or drums.
We can also bring along gongs, didgeridoo or singing bowls to complete the lessons with a relaxation session at the end.
As The Rhythm Village is a registered NDIS Service Provider, you may be able to access our private music lessons as part of your National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) plans.
