2017 SEPLA Conference
SEPLA 2017 was a busy and rewarding conference for us. It was great to catch up with so many teachers and principals from schools we currently work with and those we have worked with in the past.
The conference was held at the Novotel Hotel in Parramatta and this year’s theme was It’s Time – Leadership, Innovation, Equity, Support. There were some amazing keynote speakers and there was even a performance by some of the beautiful students from Holroyd School.
At this year’s conference, Josh gave an informative, engaging, and interactive presentation to the SLSOs, with lots of drumming, sing-alongs and body percussion, demonstrating first-hand the power and magic of music!
The Rhythm Village offered a couple of prizes this year at this year’s SEPLA.
Congratulations to the teacher from The Hills School who was the recipient of an awesome percussion pack, featuring maracas, egg shakers on straps, wrist bells, a flat drum and more!
We also had TWO lucky schools win FREE 45-minute Rhythm Village music workshops. We look forward to coming out to both Passfield Park School and Beverley Park School to make some fabulous music with your students and teachers!
